Altra stagione, altro giro, altro regalo. Ma per chi? Nessuno, credo a parte me. Ovvero, come quasi tutto quel che c’è qui dentro. Quarantasette brani per poco più di tre ore, ovvero la musica necessaria per andare e tornare a piedi da qui al supermercato alla rotonda diciotto volte. Senza fare la spesa, ovviamente.
Come al solito, alcuni brani sono entrati per l’effetto-concerto, Cardigans, Vega, altri per le uscite di dischi nuovi, Orton, Atkins, Strokes, Rose, Potter, Merchant, Simple minds; altri ancora perché sentiti in trasmissioni musicali e diventati scoperte interessanti, Sundfør, Yard Act, Labi Siffre, Avett Brothers, Miles Kane, This Is Lorelei e la notevole Marta Del Grandi, altri vecchi dischi tornati alla mente, Brooks, The Sports, Poe, Paula Cole, Veruca Salt, ovviamente Smiths; altri invece sentiti in giro e shazammati tra radio, supermercati, aeroporti, bar, quasi tutte le altre. Evvia, dunque, dentro nell’autunno, tra un paio di giorni. Già sta uscendo un bel po’ di roba, tra fine agosto e ora, Dexys Midnight Runners, Echo & the Bunnymen, Eels, Weezer, per stare a certi nomi classiconi, ormai. Poi tutto nuovo, come ogni viaggio della vita, avanti dritti e sguardo puntato in alto.
